Apologies for the brevity, but my scheduled preview seems to have been eaten by the gremlins. On paper, LSU should take this weekend pretty easily. UGA's only hitting .276 as a team and leads the SEC with 298 Ks, facing LSU's great pitching staff that leads the SEC with 392 Ks. Even worse for the Dawgs, their leading slugger Hunter Cole has been out 6 games with a muscle strain and is still questionable for this weekend. It lines up for LSU's starting pitching to have a great weekend doing what they do best in just blowing batters away.

On the mound for UGA, the highlight is friday starter Alex Wood, who was responsible for UGA staying undefeated on Friday's in the SEC until he got a no decision in a 16 inning loss to Florida last weekend. The rest of UGA's staff isn't too bad, with a 3.72 ERA, but the rest of their starters are throwing over 4.00 and have losing record. An interesting stat to watch is UGA's stolen bases. The Dawgs are unbelievably efficient, going 40 for 48 on the year.

TV all weekend, Weather should be a perfect partly cloudy and low 80's all weekend
