Andy Dodd, the No. 13 offensive guard and four-star prospect according to Rivals, kicked off today's National Signing Day activities by faxing his national letter of intent to LSU.
A 325-pounder out of Pepperell High School in Lindale, Georgia, Dodd was originally an Alabama commitment, but flipped to the Tigers over the summer. He also had offers from Florida State, Miami, South Carolina and Georgia Tech.
Interestingly, he played tight end at times for Pepperell, but he projects as a guard or possibly a center for the Tigers.
