Five Things: June 18, 2013

Kyle Laferriere-US PRESSWIRE

1. In the non-LSU baseball news, Auburn has a new coach and it's a familiar face: Oklahoma's Sunny Golloway. College and Magnolia has a very exhaustive take here, however, the more interesting ones might've come from now departed Sooners' pitcher Dillon Overton.

2. If anybody doesn't know, SB Nation and EDSBS alumna Holly Anderson recently made the jump from SI over to ESPN's Grantland where she will try to educate them on a world that seems strange and unusual to them: college football. Her latest offering here.

3. Mothership continues to preview the coming season, here with a look at the SEC schedule in aggregate, featuring all our various contributors.

4. Along with some bowl projections. Capital One? We'll see...

5. And I would be remiss if we didn't give Father's Day some mention here, albeit a bit late. Fun fact, we have 2 dads here on the staff, three if you want to count Mr. Emeritus, Senor Pittman. It should be an important day in every household, and it should come as no surprise to any of us that it's a big deal in the Miles home.
