Shortly after signing day, SB Nation put out a longform piece discussing the rise and fall of Ryan Perrilloux. In the piece Ryan comes off as someone who seems to feel slighted by LSU and how things turned out in his college career. Shortly after, WAFB's Jaques Doucet put together a piece (which he has told us was planned before that longform piece came out) also talking about Perrilloux's career. In person on tape, Perrilloux paints a different attitude to his dismissal from LSU and his time here.

Mitchell is having an up and down MLB career but is in no way upset with his career choice even though he feels there might of been a chance for him on the gridiron in the NFL.

LSU spring game set for April 5 in Tiger Stadium | - LSU has set their spring game date for Saturday, April 5th. That's also the same weekend as the Mississippi State baseball series. Busy weekend on campus.

Football Again Among Top 10 in Attendance - - The Official Web Site of LSU Tigers Athletics - Despite many of us mentioning how the attendance didn't look great at games, and there were many empty seats. LSU still clocked in in the Top 10 for attendance, for the 14th straight season, at #8 in the country with an average of 91,418 fans per game. LSU is 4th in the SEC, behind Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia, all who have larger stadiums. In terms of % of the stadium filled, LSU ranked behind UGA (sell-out), Alabama (about 99.6%), and in front of Tennessee (93.2%). LSU had about 98.7% of the stadium filled this year.

Report: LSU interviewing Daye for coaching opening | Tiger Tracks - As many know, Thomas McGaughey left LSU to take the ST job with the New York Jets. LSU since has been looking for a new ST coaches job and it's being reported here that current Missouri Southern State HC Daryl Daye, who played at LSU in the 1980's under Bill Arnsparger, was an assistant under Mike Archer, and who's father played for LSU on the 1958 National Championship team, will be getting an interview for the job. I'd expect the talk of who will fill the ST vacancy will heat up in the coming days.
