Darrel Williams Signs With LSU

Four-star running back Darrel Williams of John Ehret High School in Marrero has faxed in his national letter of intent.

Williams (6-0, 227) was the 250th-player in the 247 Sports Composite, the 23rd running back (No. 15 as an ATH recruit) and No. 16-rated player in the state of Louisiana. He rushed for 2,201 yards and 32 touchdowns his senior season. Originally committed to Arizona State, Williams flipped his verbal pledge to the Tigers in December when his scholarship offer finally came in. His other suitors included Tennessee, Auburn, Florida and Georgia.
