Wide Receiver Trey Quinn of Barbe High School in Lake Charles, Louisiana officially joined LSU, signing his letter of intent.
Quinn (6'1", 200) is the #78 overall prospect according the 247 Sports Composite Rankings. He's the #10 WR and #8 best player in the state of Louisiana. Quinn broke Dorial Beckham-Green's high school career yardage record and was elected to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. During his prep career, he topped 1,200 receiving yards each season, amassing over 1,900 yards in both his Junior and Senior campaigns.
Quinn is a good sized, athletic WR, capable of taking any ball to the house. Quinn is a superb route runner and hands catcher, but also a big play dynamo. Looking at an LSU WR depth chart that lacks stud playmakers, the opportunity for Quinn to contribute immediately is immense.
