Strengths

Upright, versatile back that has proven he can handle multiple roles...classic one-cut zone runner that is well-built for running between the tackles and with good instincts for cutting outside... good sense of acceleration, and opens up his stride in the open field to pull away from defenses...willing blocker and capable receiver...also an asset on special teams as a blocker on returns or as a tackler in coverage.

Weaknesses

While Blue does a number of things well, there's no area of his game that he excels in...inconsistent pad level, height can be a detriment in short-yardage situations...not particularly elusive in the open field...lacks elite speed...never seemed to regain original burst following ACL injury in junior season.

Verdict

Blue is a hard worker, and a positive locker-room guy that will almost certainly make good impressions on the teams he interviews with. He's a willing special teams player, and that's almost certainly his best chance of making a roster. From there, he may be able to fit a specific system, such as the Redskins' or Texans' zone-stretch. Still, it'd be a surprise to see him come off the board in the draft. Likely a free agent.
