LSU walk on receiver and active duty Marine Luke Boyd promoted to Staff Sergeant - Football - A great story here. Active duty Marine Luke Boyd has been promoted to Staff Sergeant. He is also a walk-on receiver with the LSU football team. He's currently earning his education at LSU as part of the MECEP - the Marine Corps Enlisted Commissioning Educational Program. He also hopes to take the field for LSU this fall.

Tyrann Mathieu replies to Twitter comment about Josh Gordon with serious answer | Shutdown Corner - Yahoo Sports - Josh Gordon was recently arrested for DWI, not that far removed from a year-long suspension for a failed marijuana test. After a tweet was sent out that said "Josh Gordon needs to start hanging out with Tyrann Mathieu" (Mathieu's username was tagged), Tyrann responded "oh no, I am still in recovery myself".

We all know how serious Mathieu can be with issues like this on Twitter and it was a very mature answer and good to see him recognize the steps he must keep making on his road to recovery.

Oh, and Deion Sanders made a really stupid response to that. Why? I have no idea.
