Wisconsin (2-1)
The Badgers pounded out an amazing 644 rushing yards in a 68-17 victory over Bowling Green. Tanner McEvoy didn't exactly light it up with his arm, but he did rush for 158 yards.
Sam Houston State (1-3)
Bye weeK for the BearKats.
ULM (2-1, 1-0 in the Sun Belt)
Likewise, also a bye week for this LSU paycheck opponent.
Mississippi State (4-0, 1-0)
Enjoy it boys. You earned it.
New Mexico State (2-2, 1-2 in the Sun Belt)
The Aggies allowed some 432 yards rushing to the University of New Mexico in a 38-35 loss.
Auburn (3-0, 1-0 in SEC play)
The Tigers held on for a tough 20-14 win last Thursday in The Little Apple against Kansas State. College and Magnolia seems the most excited about Auburn's defense heating up.
Florida (2-1, 1-1)
They kept it close for a half, but in the end Alabama eviscerated Florida, 42-21. If the Gators' defense is failing them, then maybe the end is near for Will Muschamp.
Kentucky (2-1, 0-1)
Bye week in Bluegrass as well, preparing for Vanderbilt.
Ole Miss (3-0, 1-0)
Open date for the Rebels as well, who kept pace in the top 10.
Alabama (4-0, 1-0)
Blake Sims absolutely shredded Florida for 445 yards in Alabama's big win. Their 645 yards of offense were a record for a Florida opponent.
Arkansas (2-1, 0-1)
The Hogs "only" ran for 212 yards against Northern Illinois, but did pass for a respectable 215 yards, including a 15-of-22 performance out of Brandon Allen with two touchdowns and no picks.
Texas A&M (4-0, 1-0)
The Aggies did exactly what they should have done to SMU, cruising 58-6. GBH is a little concerned about the a somewhat slow start compared to what the Aggies may face against SEC squads.
