Wisconsin (3-1)
Sconnie pounded out a 27-10 win over South Florida behind another big effort out of Melvin Gordon -- 32 carries for 181 yards and two touchdowns. B5Q has a quality formation breakdown here. Unsurprisingly, they have some thoughts on Michigan and Brady Hoke as well.
Sam Houston State (2-3, 1-0 in the FCS Southland Conference)
Picked up their first conference win of the season with a 42-10 thrashing of Lamar.
ULM (3-1, 2-0 in the Sun Belt)
A 13-play, 57-yard drive and a 29-yard Justin Manton field goal with two minutes left gave the Warhawks a 22-20 win over Troy. The kick earned him conference special teams player of the week honors.
Mississippi State (4-0, 1-0)
Spent the bye week finding some new ways to enjoy last week's historic victory.
New Mexico State (2-3, 1-2 in the Sun Belt)
Unsurprisingly, Doug Martin was the most frustrated with his Aggies' turnovers last weekend against LSU.
Auburn (4-0, 3-0 in SEC play)
Nick Marhall had 271 yards of total offense and three passing touchdowns in a 45-17 win over Louisiana Tech. Quan Bray was huge as well, catching two of Marshall's scoring passes and returning a punt for another six, earning him special teams player of the week honors. Bray dedicated the performance to his late mother.
Florida (2-1, 1-1)
The Gators were off this week, but the hot seat never lets up on Will Muschamp. With Florida preparing for Tennessee, it looks like Boom's going down with his guy under center.
Kentucky (3-1, 1-1)
Bit of an ugly, defensive win for Kentucky, but they'll take it, 17-7 over Vanderbilt.
Ole Miss (4-0, 2-0)
Dr. Bo scattered a couple passes as Ole Miss had their worst offensive day of the year in a 24-3 win over Memphis. It's not sitting great with Red Cup Rebellion, but it's time to move on to Bama week for them.
Alabama (4-0, 1-0)
RBR spent their bye week coming up with some interesting splits and numbers on their offense so far.
Arkansas (3-2, 0-2)
BERT's boys ran for 285 yards but couldn't quite hold off Texas A&M in Arlington, and fell 35-28 in overtime. Arkansas Fight has a breakdown of the Aggies' game-winner here. Hey, they'll always have this boss fake punt though.
Texas A&M (5-0, 2-0)
It was Kevin Sumlin's first overtime win at Texas A&M, and while defense is still a concern, the GBH boys are proud of the way their team fought back.
