Jorian Baucom didn't wait long. LSU started the game off with immediate pressure in the box, with Baucom putting a header at goal before a minute had elapsed in the game. Baucom would take a dribble in the 17th minute to the right of a Razorback defender and converted off of a deflected save for her 12th on the year.

Shortly after, Baucom was on the ball again, and faked an Arkansas defender before sailing a shot from range.

Eventually, Arkansas got back on their feet and started finding shots on goal for themselves. Goalkeeper Catlina Rubiano was a rock for the Tigers though, saving all 6 shots on target fired at her and making brilliant plays on corners and free kicks all night.

Gomez-Junco also had a shot on goal, and played great otherwise, controlling the ball well and showing smart distribution in a leading situation.

LSU held on and extended their unbeaten streak over Arkansas to 12, going 11-0-1 against the Razorbacks going back to 2004.

With the win, LSU jumps two spots in the SEC table into 8th with 10 points, making them eligible for the SEC Tournament while also putting the pressure on Mississippi State who currently sit at 8 points and are looking at a date with #13 Florida Friday night. Vanderbilt is the buffer between teams with 9 points, and they draw #8 South Carolina, who currently sit on top of the table.

LSU is back at home next weekend for their last home series of the year with a huge matchup against Mississippi State on Friday night at 7 and South Carolina on Sunday at 1. A win and a draw in that weekend would all but lock LSU into the SEC Tournament. As of now, neither game will be on the SEC Network.

UPDATE: One of Rubiano's saves came in at #8 in Sportscenter's Top Ten:
