Not much to update on the Les Miles front before his press meeting at lunch, but for what it's worth the "team meeting" Miles mentioned having today will apparently just be his regular weekly team meeting and we all read to much into the statement.
@JimKleinpeter Coach Miles has a team meeting with his players every Monday at 3 p.m. This is not unusual. This is how they start the week.

Les Miles lunch presser is around 12:30 and is carried live on SECN+, WAFB, 104.5 fm in BR, and LSUSports.net
Things are getting a bit crazy around here as you might imagine. In lieu of Billy having to watch the Ole Miss disaster again, here's a good film breakdown from The Advocate's Ross Dellenger, with a focus on the big defensive breakdowns and LSU's penalties.
There's a ton going on in the CFB coaching carousel that's not related to LSU (well, not yet anyway). SB Nation has a great page that collects all the info.
McNeese St. now 9-0 (10-0 with a D2 win that doesn't count in the standings) and Southland Conference Champion, is the 4th seed in the FCS playoff and has a bye to the second round.
Our Women's Hoops contributor Bria Felicien scored an interview with former Lady Tiger Shanece McKinney, about life playing hoops in France and what it's been like since the terrorist attacks in Paris.
A couple notes from the end of baseball season that i've missed sharing: Jake Latz had successful elbow surgery, with rehab time pushing his comeback towards the end of the regular season. The SEC Thursday Night Showcase dates have been announced, with LSU's games @ A&M, @ Ole Miss, and vs Vandy picked up. After fall practice wrapped up, Coach Paul Mainieri sat down with The Advocate to talk about his pitching staff.
Ben Simmons is already getting crazy press this season. Coverage from his native Australia points out that he's already come close to being the first college player ever to mark a "5 by 5" stat line in a college game. ESPN's Jay Bilas compares him to LeBron James and calls him the best player in college this year.
It's been a rough month, and I needed something this morning to get me feeling better. The Human Jukebox never disappoints.
Just hold on to something yall, we'll get through this week together.
