Week 10!?! How can it be that college football is rounding into a close. It feels as if we've only just begun! Parting is such sweet sorrow, and as we limp closer to the end of college football, so to do we begin to say goodbye to more and more who tried their hand in the game of survivor and lost. This is the Game Thrones: you win or you die. It's a war of attrition and we have attrited. Goodbye TigerJon, it was nice knowing you. Goodbye Feaux Sheaux, you are Neaux Meaux.
We're down to our lucky 7. Lucky like Leonard. Running, running, running, go!
I'll track everything on this Google Spreadsheet:
Games for the Week
#20 Mississipppi State @ Missouri
Vanderbilt @ Florida
Kentucky @ Georgia
Arkansas @ #18 Ole Miss
South Carolina @ Tennessee
Auburn @ #19 Texas A&M
#2 LSU @ #4 Alabama
Curious to see if anyone touches the showdown in Tuscaloosa. I believe a couple folks left (myself included, still have to pick Bama or Auburn).
Otherwise, we're looking at some steep upset calls for the travelers this week, sans Mississippi State, who plays Mizzou tonight. Vandy, Kentucky, Arkansas, South Carolina and Auburn are all double-digit underdogs on the road. Y'all feeling any spoilers? A&M seems ripest for that, though Arkansas has steadily improved to the point that they shouldn't be SO devalued vs. Ole Miss, right? Georgia is in all kinds of mess but has beaten Kentucky like 19 straight or some shit.
Bit of a murky week for picks!
