Defensive end Isaiah Washington of Edna Karr High School in New Orleans has signed his national letter of intent to become a member of LSU's 2015 recruiting class.
Washington is listed at 6-4, 240 pounds and is a 3-star recruit. He is rated as the 22nd defensive end in the class according to 247 Composite rating and the 485th player overall. He is ranked as the 24th player in the state of Louisiana and committed to LSU back in February of last year.
In his senior season, Washington recorded 55 tackles, 15.5 for loss and 7 sacks. He has good size and is very athletic. He moves around very well with such a long frame and is impressive at the point of attack. His hand quickness is also impressive and improved his technique as a pass rusher his senior year compared to last year.
Washington could see playing time early with departures at both ends so expect to see him on the field.
