Tyron Johnson Signs with LSU

The No. 1 player in the state of Lousiana has signed with the hometown Tigers.

Tyron Johnson, out of Warren Easton H.S. in New Orleans, La. has signed and faxed his letter of intent to LSU.

Johnson committed to LSU at the Under Armour All-American Game on January 2nd. There was some feeling during his recruitment that he may choose Texas Tech or Oklahoma State over the Tigers, but LSU was always the favorite.

Johnson is the highest rated player in LSU's class, ranked 27th by 247 Sports Composite. He's the fifth-ranked receiver and Louisiana's top player for 2015.

Over his Junior and Senior years, he caught a total of 181 catches for 3,022 yards and 34 TDs.
