As you may be aware, Severe storms ripped through south Louisiana this morning, bringing flash floods and damaging winds across the area. LSU suffered some flooding and minor damage, particularly to Alex Box Stadium. Both foul poles were blown down and various tarps around the stadium were damaged. LSU is hosting Alcorn St tomorrow night and at the moment the game appears to be still on. Alcorn St (11-36, 4-27 SWAC) is currently carrying a 290 out of 301 NCAA RPI and the simple math of the matter is that it would absolutely be beneficial for LSU to not play tomorrow's game. It is to be LSU's final mid-week home game of the season, with no game next week during Finals and the remaining midweek game in New Orleans at UNO.
