LSU plays host to a Southland Conference team for the 5th time in addition to throwing a homecoming party for UNO assistant coach and LSU great (yeah I said it) Blake Dean.

Miss u, Blake.

LSU had a much needed flawless perfect undefeated week against ULL and Bama after dropping a series to Kentucky that really should have been a sweep. At any rate, there is still a lot of things to look for this week, mainly any improvement in the bullpen department. Kyle Bouman (0-1, 9.00) gets the start tonight and since there's a game tomorrow I think we can see Mainieri riding him for 4 innings and then going to Reynolds for another 4. That leaves the triumphant return of Taco Bell Anderson recently demoted Jake Godfrey and the remaining staff on Wednesday night.

UNO is 11-20 on the year and LSU will be their first ranked opponent. In addition to that, the Privateers are a dismal 1-10 on the road. They will throw righty Kevin Kelleher (1-3, 3.54)
