LSU (28-5, 4-1 Southland) plays in yet another midweek conference game, this time against Northwestern State.
LSU finally looked like a complete team last night and beat UNO 11-2 with no hiccups and now they turn around and play in the 2nd to last Wednesday night game of the season. LSU will put former Sunday starter Jake Godfrey (5-0, 4.24) on the mound.
Northwestern has had a rough past two weeks, playing the two best teams in the Southland, McNeese and Southeastern, losing both games. The Demons have yet to announce a starter. Connor Hale is unlikely to start due to yesterday's injury.
