Honestly, aside from the whole soft-shelled crab, I'm not sure I enjoy a single bite of fried seafood more than a good fried oyster. Cornmeal batter, hot oil. Get that sucker nice and sealed and crispy on the outside, with a juicy, briney center.

How about we make some dough, dunk it in MORE hot oil, get it good and crispy on the outside, but fluffy and chewy on the inside. Then cover it in powdered sugar. If you're breakfast tailgating, your guests will most certainly thank you.
