It was the final game for a lot of LSU players tonight, but it was also the final call for The Voice of The Tigers, Jim Hawthorne. After 32 years of calling nearly every single LSU baseball game ever since it's very beginnings on radio, and becoming the radio voice of all LSU sports, Hawthorne is retiring after working the upcoming basketball season. If you have a single LSU baseball memory in your brain, there's a 99.999% chance Jim Hawthorne is calling it.
