...Starts by greeting Ted, explaining that he had "coffee in my mechanism" last week...a general rehash of all things that went on during the delay...was consulted by team doctors that playing well into 2am would have led to unfocused and weary players, which leads to unnecessary injuries...he still wanted to play, but the lightning never stopped...singled out Rickey Jefferson, Tashawn Bower, and Jamie Keehn for their excellent but brief performances... the usual stats and compliments about the opponent....when asked, it seemed like Sione Teuhema and Deondre Clark not dressing for the game was because of some discplinary issue, but later in the presser Miles stated "We play the best players. Certainly, if they're the best players, they'll step in there and go[...] It's all performance based" so I'm not really sure what to make of that...Chidi Valentine-Okeke will be taking a redshirt...Mickey Johnson, the senior DT who had to be talked out of transferring to La Tech this past offseason, will apparently also not be seeing the field this season (I'm not sure I understand what's going on there)....Miles said we might see as many as 15 true freshmen on the field for LSU this weekend...Ted winds his way to a question about air pressure in footballs...standard platitudes about Dak Prescott and other parts of State's offense...complements how Kevin Toliver and Dwyane Thomas found their way to the field in the few plays against McNeese, but was quick to mention Ed Paris is in that mix at corner as well... "I'm not distracted by cow bells"
No change to the depth chart from last week, except the -OR- has been removed from the QB position. This is Harris' job, for as long as he can hold on to it.
