For the last 3 years, there has been a defining moment in every one of LSU Basketball's big wins: The entry to the game of Henry Shortess. The 5'9" U-High product is the very definition of a lifetime Tiger fan living the dream. A Baton Rouge native and veteran of Joe Dean Jr.'s Dixie Basketball camps, the Junior walk-on has made 1 bucket each season he's been on the team, including the final points scored in this year's 79-51 blowout of American U. Aside from Ben Simmons, there's no Tiger who brings a bigger cheer from the crowd when he gets on the floor. Today, Shortess' hard work and sacrifice to LSU Basketball while being an exemplary student-athlete was rewarded with a scholarship.
