The LSU Men’s Basketball regular season officially tips off today at 1pm in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center against the “upset”-minded Wofford Terriers. Wofford is from the Southern Conference, where you might recognize other names such as Chattanooga, Furman, Mercer, and The Citadel.
Wofford returns the third best 3-point shooter in the nation in sophomore Fletcher Magee, who posted an incredible 47.9% behind the arc last season. Senior guard Eric Garcia, who led the Terriers with 4.8 assists per game in 2015-16, will also be a key player to keep an eye on this afternoon. Wofford did, however, losing their leading scorer (14.8 PPG) from last season when guard Spencer Collins graduated.
