The ink's barely dried on the 2016 signing class and the coaches are right back at it again for the 2017 cycle. This weekend, LSU will play host to over 500 rising prospects, at one of their annual Junior Day events. In year's past, the Junior Day has been launching point for offers. The coaching staff tends to keep a lot of offers in hand until they can do in-person evaluations, especially with local prospects, unless you are amongst a very elite tier.
Considering the large number of prospects expected to attend, it'd be impossible to provide a comprehensive list. So here's a list of some of the top talents that will be in Baton Rouge this weekend.
Again, this is just a sampling of talent headed to Baton Rouge. Rumor has it that 5-star DT Marvin Wilson might just be swinging on into Baton Rouge as well.
I'm anxious to see what offers come from this event, and if any commits follow them. LSU has been busy handing out offers this week. Here's a sampling of the offers handed out just in the past few days:

As you can see, tons of offers flying around for LSU right now. Last year, the in state crop was so strong, the staff didn't have to travel too far to complete their signing class. This season, with less top tier instate talent, I expect a more national approach. More to come as it drops!
