Four-star wide receiver Stephen Sullivan is on board as a member of LSU's recruiting class of 2016. The 6-5, 230-pound Sullivan was one of LSU's five early enrollees in the class. He is already on campus and will go through spring practices with the team.
Sullivan, out of nearby Donaldsonville High School, had originally committed to the Tigers as a junior, but backed out of it last August as his interest picked up from schools like TCU, Texas and Mississippi State. In early December Sullivan re-affirmed his original pledge to the home team, in what was a bit of a surprise. He is a composite four-star in the 247 Sports rankings, ranked 122 in their top 247, and the No. 6 player in the state of Louisiana.
