One of the early DBU commitments or 2016 made things official with the Tigers today with his national letter of intent.
Williams, a 6-2 corner out of Shreveport's Calvary Baptist originally committed to the Tigers in the spring of his junior year, and while the Tigers did have to fend off a late challenge from Texas A&M, LSU was able to hold on to Louisiana's 13th-rated player.
Williams is a composite four-star prospect and the 20th-rated corner in the class of 2016. He also had offers from Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Baylor.
