Caleb Roddy signs with LSU

Top-20 strongside defensive end signs with LSU.

Coach Orgeron received some good news for his defensive-line class as Roddy made his commitment with the Tigers official, signing his national letter of intent.

Caleb Roddy, the 6'4.5', 275 lb defensive end committed to LSU on June 8th, and never really wavered from his decision. LSU beat out Arkansas, Auburn, Arizona State, Mississippi State and Ole Miss to hold on to Roddy. He's just 17 years old, so there's a lot of room for development as well.

Roddy is a composite 3-star, the No. 23 player in the state of Louisiana, and the #19 strongside defensive end recruit nationally. Roddy is also the son of former LSU basketball star Harold Boudreaux.
