Our beloved HB7 has been on a real tear lately on Twitter, taking advantage of his platform as one of the top defensive players in the NFL to speak on a number of issues. Sunday, on Fox Sports Radio, he weighed in on the awful murder of Saints' legend Will Smith over the weekend.
It's refreshing to hear how much Mathieu has grown through his struggles here, and persevered and kept a strong mindset through a number of injuries that have plagued his pro career. Clearly the issues plaguing the Crescent City really hit home for him.
