Sorry for the delay folks, this one’s a bit late.
First, an update from last week. Despite breezing through the other competition, the US National U-19 Football team fell to Canada in the U-19 World Championship game, 24-6. I guess Canada now controls the future of football in the world.

In the dead of summer, the world cries out for football, and the Canadiens are here with the methadone you need to get to September. The ancient and honorable sport of Canadian football is here, back again with a great US TV deal with ESPN for the 2016 season. Since games never overlap, you can literally watch the entire season without missing a second of the pseudo-football action! Here’s a quick primer of all you need to know.
Picking one of the 9 teams to follow isn’t a requirement, but if you need a rooting interest, go for the Hamilton Ti-Cats, home to former LSU standouts Drake Nevis, Terrence Toliver, and CFL Iron Man Peter Dyakowski.
