One of the biggest bodies in LSU’s 2018 signing class has sent in his paperwork during this December signing period: three-star defensive lineman Dare Rosenthal.
At 6-7 and 327 pounds, Rosenthal is an athlete that the Tigers have been recruiting since his freshman year at Ferriday High School. Rosenthal has bounced back and forth between offensive and defensive lines, but the staff has offered him the chance to play both here.
Rosenthal is a three-star in the 247 Sports composite rankings and the 39th-rated defensive tackle. He was the No. 19 prospect in the state of Louisiana this season, and had offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Georgia — virtually every major program in the country.
