Three-star tight end/H-back Zach Sheffer has signed with LSU, out of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
Sheffer, 6-3, 220 pounds, committed to the Tigers in June over offers from Ohio State, Michigan and Auburn, among others. He is a composite three-star prospect, and the No. 26 tight end in the country.
He projects as an H-back/combo tight end for LSU, and caught 19 passes for 317 yards and four touchdowns last year for Nease High School. Sheffer was recruited by Steve Ensminger for LSU.
