Three-star JUCO Offensive Guard Damien Lewis signed his letter of intent and submitted it to the LSU coaching staff.

Lewis was one of the last players to commit to this class, announcing his commitment shortly after the Texas a&M game. He told SEC Country that he had always wanted to play for a Power 5 school and find a place that felt like home, and believes he found that at LSU.
The Mississippi native held a mix of Power 5 and Group of 5 offers, including Ole Miss, Kentucky, South Carolina, and West Virginia.
It is unclear how Lewis fits into the Tigers offensive line plans entering 2018. At a minimum, Lewis seems to be set to compete for one of the interior offensive line spots should Orgeron and company opt to reshuffle the unit.
