LSU further bolstered the offensive line with a big-time offensive line prospect with the commitment of four-star offensive tackle Badara Traore.
The massive (6-8, 315) Traore, out of ASA College in New York, has been a major target for Ed Orgeron and Jeff Grimes since the offensive line attrition of the previous offseason. Traore is a composite four-star prospect and the No. 1 JUCO offensive tackle, with offers from Texas, Auburn and Oklahoma, among others.
Traore joined fellow JUCO commit Damien Lewis on LSU’s massive weekend of visitors for the Texas A&M game — many expected him to commit at the time, but a visit from Ed Orgeron this week made things official. He is a mid-term enrollee and will be with the program for spring practice.
