Big news at a major need for LSU on this National Signing Day, with the announcement of four-star linebacker/defensive end K’Lavon Chaisson signing with the Tigers!

Chaisson, from Houston, is the No. 4 weakside defensive end prospect in the Class of 2017, and projects as a textbook edge/outside linebacker in LSU’s 3-4 defense. He fits a major need or the Tigers as a natural successor to Arden Key in Dave Aranda’s scheme. It was a down-to-the-wire battle for Chaisson’s services between LSU and Texas, but the Tigers, who were among the first teams to offer Chaisson early in the process, won out.
