Three-star offensive tackle Seth Stewart faxed his signed LOI to the Tiger staff and is now a member of the LSU football team.
The 6-8, 320 pound tackle also had offers from Arkansas, Louisville, his home state Mountaineers and others. 247’s composite rankings put him as the number four prospect in his state and 73rd at his position. A Jeff Grimes target, Stewart committed to the Tigers back in July of 2016.
With the departures of Chidi Okeke and George Brown, Stewart provides critical depth to an offensive line which is a little depleted at the moment. Like most bigger offensive linemen coming out of there are concerns about maintaining his playing weight and his mobility, but there is little doubt his size gives him advantages as a blocker. Big people beat little people.
