Four-star quarterback Myles Brennan has signed his letter of intent with LSU and faxed his paperwork to the Tiger coaching staff.
The fourth ranked player in Mississippi and the sixth-ranked pro-style quarterback in the nation in the composite rankings, Brennan had a roller coaster of a recruitment despite being committed since May 30th. After Miles and Cameron were let go, Orgeron complicated matters saying he wanted a dual-threat quarterback that would cause Brennan to state he wasn’t a commit. When Matt Canada was hired, he came in and quickly calmed the waters for smooth sailing the rest of the way.
With a new offensive coordinator and a starting quarterback that didn’t do anything to secure that spot, Brennan will have a shot to compete for that starting position. Brennan threw for 111 yards and a touchdown in the Under Armour All-American Game, where he was selected as a captain.
