After the dead period, Coach Orgeron and DC Dave Aranda went on the hunt for LBs and they found a stud in 4-star LB Tyler Taylor.
Taylor, the no. 11 ILB in the nation, drew late attention from LSU and was also considering Auburn, Georgia and Oklahoma. At 6’2”, 230 pounds, he’s already college ready size wise and could challenge for a starting role as soon as 2017.
Taylor is a welcome addition to an LSU LB corps that lacks depth and needs immediate playmakers.
