Rebels and Tigers and Bears oh my.

Adam Henderson

In a series pushed up a day due to Easter Sunday, LSU welcomes Ole Miss to Alex Box Stadium/Skip Bertman Field for the series that marks the halfway point in the SEC regular season.

LSU and Ole Miss have a storied history across nearly every sport, and baseball is no different. The Rebels and Tigers started playing each other in baseball in 1909 and since LSU holds the all-time series lead 173-149. Believe it or not, Ole Miss has not won a series in Baton Rouge since 1982, going 0-18 for series in Baton Rouge since then. LSU have taken 13 of the last 18 series against the Rebels.

While LSU had to come from behind a steal a series win against Arkansas before staving off UL-Lafayette, Ole Miss is coming off of a two wins against Southern Miss and a convincing sweep of Alabama.

Starters

Ole Miss: James McArthur (1.85 ERA, 34 IP, 3.00 K/BB [36/12])

LSU: Alex Lange (3.77 ERA, 45.1 IP, 3.86 K/BB [62/16])
