Here’s the latest and greatest on your Bayou Bengals as they continue to dominate in baseball in addition to finishing second in the nation in gymnastics, and prepare to give fans their first taste of football in a while with the team’s Spring Game on Saturday, April 22.

Coming off of a 3-2 win vs. Ole Miss this past Saturday, the No. 9 baseball Tigers will prepare to face an unranked Lamar Cardinals team in Alex Box Stadium Tuesday night. Expect this to be a swift LSU victory, as the Cardinals have been rough on the road, losing 11 of their 15 games away from home this season.

Potential Heisman candidate and Tigers’ star running back Derrius Guice found himself in the headlines when he gave this in-depth explanation about LSU football culture in response to SEC Network’s Peter Burns.

Former Texas Tech defensive lineman Breiden Fehoko is also feeling the good vibes in Baton Rouge, and made his commitment to the team known via Twitter. He won’t see any action on the field for the season as a transfer, but will still have a solid two seasons of eligibility in Dave Aranda’s stout defense.

That being said, Glover has never been a fan and is most likely just trying to crash the party at LSU out of pettiness.
