Deichmann, Lange Named All-SEC

Tigers’ ace and big bat headline coaches all-conference team for LSU.

The Southeastern Conference coaches released their All-SEC baseball selections today, with outfielder Greg Deichmann and pitcher Alex Lange heading up a list of seven players to make the assorted team selections.

Deichmann is the Tigers’ leader in home runs and second overall in the conference. He and Lange (7-5, 2.79 ERA) were named to the first team. Shortstop Kramer Robertson was a second-team selection, while catcher Michael Papierski and third-baseman Josh Smith were named to the All-Defensive team. Freshmen Zach Watson and Eric Walker were All-Freshman selections.
