Last week, things got rolling with the college football award watch lists. Now, there are a number of Tigers to add to those lists who have made the cut in different categories.
Running back Derrius Guice was named to the Paul Hornung watch list, while linebacker Arden Key and commit Damone Clark were both named to the Butkus award watch list - just to name a few.

LSU football never stops recruiting, and it’s continued to pay off.
In one of the Tigers’ latest moves, they offered Top 25 cornerback prospect, Bobby Wolfe. Wolfe, who has received six scholarship offers for the 2019 class, is currently committed to Ole Miss.
LSU All-American sprinter Aleia Hobbs was also recognized by the committee, and was awarded the honor of most Outstanding Female Amateur of New Orleans.

Tiger quarterback Danny Etling was also announced as a nominee for the 2017 All-State AFCA Good Works Team, due to his active charity work. One-hundred and 46 players are nominated, and 22 will be chosen in September.
As if the commitment of five-star hoops commitment Javonte Smart wasn’t enough, take a look at his 2017 Peach Jam performance.
His team ultimately came up just short of a win, but it was a good day for the combo guard who scored 33 points on his own.
Feeling the heat this summer? We all are. If you’re an LSU student, you’ve got every reason in the world to take advantage of the new “Leisure River” that’s been a smash hit on social media for the last couple of days.
We’ve finally made it to the home stretch of our countdown with only six more Saturdays from today to go without Tiger football. In case you needed a reminder, here’s LSU’s 2017 schedule — complete with game themes like the Gold Game, Purple game, etc...
