While the season opener will be played on the road against BYU in Houston, TX at NRG Stadium on Sept. 2, the home opener will be played on Sept. 9 vs. Chattanooga.

Ross Dellenger of The Advocate posted an article of three Tiger seniors to count on this season. He highlighted quarterback Danny Etling, left tackle K.J. Malone and wide receiver D.J. Chark as the team’s most reliable on offense.
Etling received additional praise from ArkLaTex.com’s Tim Owens, who reported the former Purdue signal-caller was already looking even more impressive than last year.

On Tuesday, LSU announced they will be partnering with Aramark as a Concessionaire this season in an effort to enhance fan experience. The partnership will kick off as soon as the season starts vs. BYU.

Former LSU football star and first-round draft pick Booger McFarland will be taking his career to the broadcast booth, where he will join ABC as an analyst. The move will be an upgrade from the SEC Network, where McFarland has spent the last three years.
