We’ve almost reached the end of the work week, and SEC Media Days are quickly approaching. Those are both very good things.
The Tigers have officially announced the trio of athletes attending the event. Senior defensive end Christian LaCouture, senior wide receiver D.J. Chark and junior running back Derrius Guice will all be present.

With the last holiday weekend before fall camp kicks off now in the books, the Tigers are preparing for the 2017 season. LSU football released this workout video Wednesday afternoon.

LSU target and four-star defensive back prospect Cajuan Smith decommitted from Florida, making him fair game for the Tigers among other prestigious football programs.
Expect LSU to be in the mix for five-star wide receiver Terrace Marshall as well. Marshall, who is No. 1 in the country at his position, released his top four on July 4th. Of course, the Tigers made the list.

Head coach Ed Orgeron truly does have a knack for “holding that Tiger.” But in rare cases, he’s unable to do just that.
Unfortunately, 3-star running back AJ Carter flipped his commitment from LSU back to his original school - UCLA.
Regardless, we’re down to less than two more months until the Tigers take the field to play their first football game of the year.
60 days mate.

We’re all pretty excited about that too, Josh. LSU is set to take on BYU on Sept. 2 at NRG Stadium in Houston, TX.
