In a move that’s been speculated for weeks and clarified in recent days, LSU officially announced Steve Ensminger has been promoted up to Offensive Coordinator:

Ensminger has coached TEs since 2010, when he was hired by Les Miles. He famously took over for Cam Cameron on an interim basis in 2016, leading an offense that broke some records. He hasn’t coordinated an offense on a full-time basis in nearly 20 years.
I’m not going to convince you to feel any way about this, so I’m not even going to try.
Let the era of Big E begin!
