As expected, LSU junior tailback Derrius Guice became the fifth Tiger to declare his intention to skip his senior season and enter the 2018 NFL Draft.

Guice rushed for 1,251 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, despite battling a strained knee that cost him a few games. He led the SEC in rushing as a true sophomore, and will almost certainly project as a first-round draft pick.
Guice joins Arden Key, Toby Weathersby, Kevin Toliver II and Donte Jackson as 2017 Tigers that will wave their final years of eligibility. Center Will Clapp and guard Garrett Brumfield are still considering their options, but are expected to stay for their senior seasons.
