In a move surprising precisely no one, stud CB Donte Jackson declared for the NFL Draft today:
Much Love to this University #DJackOut⚡️ pic.twitter.com/dsIxBq435B

Jackson entered the season under scrutiny for many LSU fans for not fully encompassing his former 5-star status as a recruit. Entering as LSU’s no. 1 CB and filling Tre White shoes, Jackson delivered on that promise with a strong senior campaign. He now turns his eyes to the NFL, where he will almost certainly be regarded as a top round draft pick.
That puts LSU down two starting DBs from 2017, as his DBU mate Kevin Toliver made his declaration just yesterday. Neither move is surprising, and Coach O even referenced both at various points throughout the season. You better believe early playing time will be a major promise made to super stud DB recruit Patrick Surtain Jr.
