2019 offensive tackle & tight end Ray Parker gave his commitment to the Tigers Sunday afternoon, pushing the Tigers commitment list to 20 for the upcoming signing class.
The Ruston native is a top-150 prospect according to the 247 composite, which also rates him as the No.19 offensive tackle in the country and the No.10 prospect in the the state of Louisiana. Parker has offers from a range of schools across the country, including SEC teams Ole Miss, Florida, Mississippi State, and Texas a&M.
Parker’s commitment gives the Tigers five offensive line commits. Parker spoke highly of LSU in a conversation with 247 sports and added that he would be okay playing a position besides offensive tackle or tight end if the coaching staff asked him to switch positions.
