LSU dipped into the JUCO pool to add more talent in this class, as T.K. McClendon signed his National Letter of Intent to play for the Tigers during the early signing period.
McClendon is the #45 ranked JUCO prospect overall and #3 tight end in the 247 Composite. A 3-star recruit, he played his junior college ball at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Soperton, Georgia.
We’ve seen LSU have some success with the tight ends, notably Foster Moreau, in the last few years when they’ve been able to feature them in the passing game. We’ll see if McClendon can have a similar impact as he dons the purple and gold next year.
