LSU’s standout point guard Tremont Waters has applied to enter the 2018 NBA Draft, per The Advocate this evening.
Provided he does not sign with a sports agent, Waters has until May 30th to withdraw his name and return to school. Waters led LSU with 15.9 points, 6 assists and 2 steals per game in the 2017-2018 season, landing on the freshman All-SEC team.
With Will Wade bringing in the nation’s No. 3 signing class for his second season, led by high school All-Americans Javante Smart, Naz Reid and Emmitt Williams, getting an experienced, high-quality point guard like Waters back would be a huge plus.
