Included in this week’s Elite Camp visitors list was one official visitor — three-star Auburn defensive back commitment Cordale Flott. Today, Flott flipped his verbal pledge from the Other Tigers to LSU.

The Tigers move up to 17 commitments. Now the No. 3 class in the country. https://t.co/Gv2BEKZWGf pic.twitter.com/jMJTc4xAwI
Flott is ranked as the No. 22 overall prospect in the state of Alabama, but held offers from both of the in-state powers, and had been committed to Auburn since April. However, Corey Raymond and Tommie Robinson pressed the 6-1, 165-pound corner to switch. Raymond is known to love taller corners with long arms, and Flott fits the bill.
He works mostly in off-coverage here, but one thing that really jumps out is Flott reacts to the ball and reads the play very well. When he decides to get down hill he plants his foot and really drives.
Flott marks the 17th commitment for this class and pushes the Tigers to third nationally in the 247 Composite rankings. He’s the fifth defensive back commitment in the class, joining Derek Stingley, Marcus Banks, Dreshun Miller and Maurice Hampton.
